Application details:

  • UPSC invites Eleven Assistant Directors (Aircraft Engineering) in Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation.Experience in Airworthiness Engineering (for those who not possessing essential experience (Four years' experience in Aeronautical Research,
Development, Design or Airworthiness Engineering).

  •  DUTIES: Responsible for all
type certificate work including approval of Engineering drawings, witnessing of
static and other related tests to determine conformity of the design features and
manufacturing process to the relevant airworthiness requirements. Also to assist
the Director (AED) on the spot approval of structural modification, substitutions of
material etc.

  •  HQ: Directorate General of Civil Aviation, New Delhi with liability to
serve anywhere in India.

Requirements:

  • At least Second Class Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
  •   Age  limit  is  40  years.
  •  EXPERIENCE: Four years' experience in Aeronautical Research, Development, Design OR Airworthiness Engineering.

The  number  of  posts  are  as  follows:

  1. SC: 01
  2. OBC: 02
  3. UR :08

Payscale:

:Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 6,600 (Grade Pay)
(T.E. Rs. 45,954/-Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible, General Central Service,
Group 'A', Gazetted.
